“My work draws from my own cultural DNA, ink painting, and attempts to return to its roots to find a universal yet personal painting language to engage with today’s globalized, multicultural context. Ink painting is not a destination, but a method of reflection.
In today's globalized and networked age, national borders are being redefined, and the boundaries of culture and art have been broken through. Ink painting, as an art form and cultural value, cannot be confined to a regional monolingual state."
